Korea #006 - CapiCapi LoomLoom

Big fan of Rilakkuma? You will fall in love with this cafe in Sungshin Women University area.

This whole place is just filled with Rilakkuma and Korilakkuma plush toys. You can just hug them while you enjoy your cup of sweet potato latte. Of course, remember to take lots of photos and have fun!

Sweet Potato Latte can only be found in Korea and not all coffee shops and cafes sell them.
I love it especially during cold weathers. ^^

Singapore #009 - Paddington House of Pancakes (PHOP)

If you a ultimate fan of pancakes, you should not miss out PHOP. It serves over 100 types of pancakes.

We had a hard time deciding which dish to order... since almost everything on the menu sounds nice

Hiou had the most ordinary pancakes with cheese sausage and harsh brown. Because its pancakes that's why it tasted so nice together with maple syrup but not their mushroom sauce. The sauce is too watery and not tasty at all.

Mexican Double Burger ($20.50):  We opted for 1 chicken patty and 1 mutton patty. It's additional $1.50 for choice of mutton. Burger buns are replaced with pancakes. Be careful of the pancake on the bottom. We were chatting while eating and after a while, the pancake at the bottom gets really soggy.

Will definitely return again to try their dessert pancakes. Portions are too big that we couldn't finish and have to dismiss the idea of ordering dessert.

Singapore #008 - Drury Lane

Drury Lane is just located at Tanjong Pagar, that many cafes are seen around the vicinity.
The red color exterior stands out really well along the stretch of shop houses.

You can find more seats on the second floor.

The muffins and cakes look really yummy but we were too full to try after our brunch.

I was really disappointed that the Laska Pasta was not available. Do check their Facebook to find out what's their today's special.

Our order no.

Coffee and tea to perk up the day
Latte ($5.50), Apple Tea ($6)

Cloud 9 ($10): Fluffy cream cheese pancakes with pineapple and berries.
Honey is served with the pancakes instead of the usual syrup. Healthy!

The Big 94 ($14): Scrambled eggs, mushrooms, minced meat sausage, honey cured turkey bacon, baked beans (not those typical canned ones), toast (we love it!)

Taiwan #001 - Melange Cafe

During my first business trip to Taiwan in last December, I had some free time on a Sunday and decided to go and visit one of the cafes that was highly recommended online.

As I had no idea where the cafe was, I hopped on a cab to get there. As the cafe was located along a small alley, the cab driver told me to alight at the main road and walk in. The cafe is near towards the main road (around 2 mins walk) so it is quite easy to find.

There are 2 outlets on the same street (no. 17 & no. 23). Both cafes were fully packed. Many couples, friends and families came here for tea break. And since I was alone, I was able to easily get a seat but near to the kitchen area.

I brought Rila along with him so my brunch will not be so lonely!

Pacific Moon (愛情果粒茶) - Wanted to be adventurous and tried on this tea. One sip it was kind of sour. But after a few sips, I was gotten used to the taste and like it!

Strawberry Cream Waffle (草莓奶油鬆餅)- The waffles are soft and blend really well with the strawberries and cream. *thumbs up*

Singapore #007 - Jamie's Italian

Jamie Oliver finally opened his restaurant in Singapore (at Vivocity). We visited during the first week of opening. Reservations were already full when we called and so we decided to walk in. My sister went to queue at 6.15pm and there were a queue probably around 10table in front of us. We waited like 30-45mins to get our table. It was really nice gesture of the restaurant to serve us Ham & Olive Platter while waiting.

One of the staff was dedicated to our table and only she could take in our orders. But other staff was attentive too. They constantly came to our tables to ensure all our orders were served.

Grilled Chicken ($28) - Grilled chicken with herbs and sauce.

Black Angel Spaghetti ($16) - Squid ink pasta with lots of scallops *thumbs up*

Rump Steak Salad ($25.50) - Premium Angus beef with lots of veg. I thought this is quite a small portion for a main dish.

Brixham Bay Crab Risotto ($19) - This is my favorite!

If you are going with a big group, I suggest you make a reservation online. You can do it here.

Just within walking distance from Gyeongbokgong Place, you can easily find this place and enjoy piping hot and delicious chicken soup.

Samgyetang (15,000won)

P.S: Try to avoid lunch or dinner crowd otherwise queue is around 30 mins. The staff do speak Chinese so don't fret if you do not know Korean!
