Singapore #021 Nooks House Of Pancakes

On New Year Eve, J couple and I met up for brunch. As one of them is a pancake lover, we decided to try this new place since I read you can DIY your own pancake. It's quite easy to find this place. You just need to know what buses can drop you at Jalan Jurong Kechil and alight opposite Blk19. Along the same stretch as Carpenter and Cook, it is just a block behind the bus stop.

Since I was earlier than the two of them, I practically just snapped every single corner of the cafe.

Finally, we order 2 batters - Original & Chocolate ($10 for each bottle). And we started to show off our drawing skills (which was not beautiful at all but it was really fun!) 

We spent 3 hours there making our own pancakes. I will definitely recommend those with young children to bring them to Nooks and have some fun and bonding. Too bad we were too full that we didn't get a chance to test The Addiction (Bailey Pancakes) and The Rainbow Pancakes.

Singapore #008 - Drury Lane

Drury Lane is just located at Tanjong Pagar, that many cafes are seen around the vicinity.

The red color exterior stands out really well along the stretch of shop houses.

You can find more seats on the second floor.

The muffins and cakes look really yummy but we were too full to try after our brunch.

I was really disappointed that the Laska Pasta was not available. Do check their Facebook to find out what's their today's special.

Latte ($5.50), Apple Tea ($6)

Cloud 9 ($10): Fluffy cream cheese pancakes with pineapple and berries. 

Honey is served with the pancakes instead of the usual syrup. Healthy!

The Big 94 ($14): Scrambled eggs, mushrooms, minced meat sausage, honey cured turkey bacon, baked beans (not those typical canned ones), toast (we love it!)

Singapore #003 - Five & Dime

It's nice to meet up with the ladies again since it's been a while since we last met...

I got the car and drove everyone to Five & Dime for brunch...

Parking is convenient... they have quite a few lots just behind the cafe and FREE PARKING!

I called to make a reservation in advance to secure the seats... Place is quite small, maybe about 30 seats
Take note that brunch is served till 3pm only.

Egg Mayo & Bacon Panini ($12): The bread has a soft texture and sweet savory taste

Egg Benny ($16): The potatoes are grilled with some spices, very tasty. The bread and eggs is just perfect combination!

Buttermilk Pancakes ($15): Pancakes go well with the fruits

Overall food is good but price is too steep especially the drinks (Nutella milkshake at $12)

However the promo is a good deal. One for one - Somersby Apple Cider ($12 for 2 bottles)
